THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7.

Dear SFVA Family,
Various news outlets have reported today that we are expecting to have the strongest winds yet at approximately 10:00pm tonight. Consequently the air quality will be of major concern. In light of this the mayor has issued an emergency warning for tomorrow, especially in the San Fernando Valley area. Many schools in our area have announced that they will be closed. The safety and well-being of our students is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore SFVA will be closed tomorrow, December 7. We will not have classes meet, nor will we have any extra-curricular activities. Please keep your children at home and close all windows and doors as we have been advised to do.  Stay informed through the local news and social media. We will notify you on any updates that we have moving forward.
We are praying for those of you who are directly impacted by this catastrophe. Stay safe and God Bless!
Sincerely,
Sheldon Parris
Principal
